The benefits of physiotherapy

Physiotherapists help people who have been affected by injury or illness, as well as promote safety and help prevent injuries before they occur. Physiotherapists are primary healthcare providers, meaning they can provide you with health care, whether you have private insurance or not, with no need for a doctor’s referral.

The benefits of physiotherapy include:

surgery

Physiotherapy can reduce and in some cases even eliminate the need for surgery. Even if surgery remains necessary, physiotherapy can help keep you in better shape before your operation as well as speed up your recovery afterward.

At GT, Greg uses a mix of movement and exercise, advice and education to assist clients. On top of employing physical techniques to reduce pain and improve bodily movements, he provides aids and equipment as well as dispenses advice. He can help with everything from simple back and knee pain and sports injuries all the way to ongoing conditions and long-term recovery.

FAQs

How are you able to offer the same service at home as in a clinic?

Sometimes a clinic does not suit your lifestyle. We can offer the exact treatment that you would receive in a clinic, in fact, the service and treatment provided GT Physiotherapy is in many ways better than that received in a clinic. A physio in a clinic is often attending to multiple patients at a time. At GT Physiotherapy, Greg will spend the whole consultation with you and only you, thereby receiving a more caring and personalised treatment.
